How It Works for Someone Like You

(6) I liquidate retail inventories

Beware when liquidating for cash. You are probably losing large sums each year by liquidating some merchandise at a liquidating price when you might be able to trade it at full retail, thus conserving your cash. A small chain of high end men's clothing stores went out of business. A trader picked up the inventory for cash at a fraction of the retail price and found ready buyers in the barter arena. She traded most of it at full retail for a group of building lots in a remote area of Florida. After sitting on the lots for 12 years a developer called and she sold out for cash. She ended with a multiple of 20 to one - that is, for every dollar she originally paid in cash to acquire the inventory, she got back $20 in cash on selling the lots. Once we fully grasp the fact that the Private Trade Dollar System trading is entirely new business for both parties using vanishing inventories, and not a substitute for a cash sale by anyone, we will know its power.
